Painter / Digitally Abstracted Photographs
In this dish I let the clay do it's own thing round the edge. One side is dipped in a white crackle glaze and the other in a copper containing glaze which is turquoise in an oxidising atmosphere, i.e. normal air, and gives metallic copper in a reducing atmosphere. This is achieved by placing the red hot pot in a dustbin of sawdust which catches light and burns off the oxygen.
Whilst great care has been taken to try and realistically represent the artwork's colour hue,
contrast, etc. it is impossible to accurately reflect the physical work of art using a computer monitor / screen.
